This combo is sweet because it starts with Juri's very quick and effective overhead attack and follows with a low attack, forcing the opponent to very quickly change guard position. Juri's j.MK is an excellent cross-up, though if you land the combo as a cross-up you'll want to substitute a c.MK in place of the c.MP for the kick's extended range. You can land the ultra off of a j.MP if the punch connects in the air, or off of an EX Shikusen. On the other hand, her second ultra, the Kaisen Dankairaku ( + KKK ), has a handful of easy combo setups. In combination with the Sekku overhead kick, it can be quite effective and gives Juri a unique weapon against the opponent. Most of her normals will chain together into combos.

When the ultra is activated, you've got a limited amount of time during which Juri can essentially perform custom combos. The Feng Shui Engine ( + PPP ) ultra combo isn't much on its own.

Her overhead Sekku kick ( + MK ) is quick and even combos into other stuff, provided you've got the right ultra selected. She's got a handful of solid normals, including her s.MP and s.MK attacks which move her forward and her c.HP which serves as excellent anti-air. When in close, attack with poke strings that combo and end with Juri's LK Senpusha for pretty safe chip damage. Juri's Shikusen ( + K ( in air ) ) gives her another useful weapon against projectiles, as it's an air attack that'll land from way outside the range of most other air attacks. If you're at the right range, you'll even cross him up, giving you an opportunity to attack from the back and land one of Juri's quick combos. From mid-range, counter a fireball with a LP Kasatushi and Juri will dash toward the opponent. The best use is as yet another counter to fireballs. Juri will absorb a hit (most hits) and then dash in one of three directions (depending on your P button choice). Her Kasatushi counter ( + P ) is another intriguing move. Note: It's possible to store up to three projectiles at once-one for each kick button-but that's not really practical. You can use it later in pressuring tactics or even in combos.

When you score a knockdown, execute the move but hold onto the projectile. The projectile will come out when you later release the button. Press and hold the K button of your choosing (each K gives a different trajectory for the projectile) after the motion and Juri will simply perform the upkick. Even better, the projectile that Juri tosses can be stored. Sound boring? What's interesting is that the initial upkick can intercept projectiles, allowing you to counter fireballs-and launch your own-with one quick move. Input the command and Juri kicks her leg up before following with the release of the projectile. The Fuhajin projectile ( + K ) is Juri's most interesting move. She's got a unique projectile that works both offensively and defensively, a tricky counter move and a healthy dose of comboability to round her out. Juri is a very unique character with a number of solid weapons that make her most effective and medium and close ranges.
